App? It's my Google+ page, just trying to have to album show in Photo tab. shows on wall/profile, just not photo section...
Most of these systems give months to give folk time to move to the new system. Or somewhere else. I only have your word this is the app that is going away.
"The shutdown will happen in stages starting on August 1st. The Android app will be the first to go. You'll have no choice but to update Google+ and download the new Photos app if you want to continue backing up and managing your content on Android. In the days and weeks following this, the web and iOS versions of Google+ Photos will stop working as well."
So there it is, it looks like it's fading away.
they actually show up in Google Photos, the album just doesn't show in the Photo tab of my profile
So it shows up fine in Google Photos.
Google+ is in the news such as http://www.slashgear.com/google-is-being-dismantled-and-thats-a-good-thing-02371639/ (bad link title but it covers it.) There are more on the web articles about this but as the album is there is Photos it's working. Google+? Looks to be ending and not being maintained.
I said it doesn't show up in Photo tab, which is correct. Google Photos is a separate thing where you can store public and private. I shared these publicly. It doesn't make sense that my album I updated yesterday (with exact same permissions) shows on my profile, yet not this one.. thanks for your replies
I think this summed it up:
"At some point, Google will explain the changes, and that Plus isn’t really Plus anymore."
I don't expect this to get fixed.
