Question

Google wifi bs Samsung smartthings wifi

Nov 19, 2018 7:47AM PST

Hello, I am planning to buy a meshi wigi system this weekend. I want to keep it under $300. I cant find a good comparison between google wifi and Samsung smartthings wifi. I also considered Asus Lyra i thought it looked great but the 2 star Amazon rating has kind of scared me off.
Here is some background on my home. I habe three cromecasts, and 4 google homes. I plan on getting smart thermostats, lights etec some day. I would like to still control everything with voice commands. I understand this is still possible with the Google homes and smartthings wifi I think....

Basically between these to which is the BEST? Any help is appreciated.

Samsung admits to be a maker of things and not so much an innovator. They are also well known to not keep on top of firmware and app updates where as Google may be known for a lot of updates. I get app updates weekly on my phone from google.

I can't answer how well the smart things and Google Home integrate but just for WiFi mesh I would go with Google.
