Google - why?

I like my email address, you had no right to make such a change. I'm darn upset.

Gmail becomes Googlemail in the UK, and I think other countries as well. Here is a story about it.

they probablly just did that because someone already had yourusername@googlemail.com. It's not fun, but it's not like it's their choice.

Sorry I didn't make it clear, i have a google account (not GMAIL) with the address me@mydomian.com and why I got a gmail account fromt eh 'try services' link in my google account they changed my Google account address from my own domain to the email accountthat I made on google.

Is Google changing everyone's e-mail from ____@gmail.com to _____@googlemail.com?

I'll probably still use GMail as I prefer to have one identity. It's a shame Picasa isn't more like Flickr, i.e. online photo storage.
