Hi there.
This happened to me, i found out it was tracking cookies, they follow your every move yield manager etc and more, third party sites redirecting my searches, i use a good anti virus program, i used the free ones, then got fed up of all this redirecting, and invested in a annual protection program, no more problems since.

Answer
Start scanning

Update your anti-virus and perform a full scan.

After that, download and install the free versions of Malwarebytes Anti-malware and SUPERAntiSpyware.

Run each to update them, close them down then run each again, one after the other, to perform full scans with each. Make sure all browsers are closed.

Let them delete all suspect files they find.

Mark...I tried the anti-virus update and full scan to no avail. I guess my question now is...is it safe to run Malwarebytes Anti-malware and SUPERAntiSpyware at the same time that Microsoft Security Essentials is protecting my computer. Won't they bump heads?

Good question

but you will be fine.

Both MBAM and SAS are anti-malware scanners and not anti-virus scanners, so they won't conflict with MSE's background anti-virus scanning.

Your MSE is an anti-virus scanner and although it may have an element of anti-spyware included, we know from experience that anti-virus scanners do not find everything. Hence the addition to our arsenal of protection.

Both those free versions of MBAM and SAS do not allow background scanning, and that would be where any conflict might arise, so there will be no problems. However, SAS may try and set itself to "Load at Startup" when you install it, so just watch out for that. Otherwise, no problem and use them once a week or so to double check your system is clear.

Good luck.

Ran MSE and MBAM and both said my computer had no threats. Ran SAS and it came up with 78! After removing all 78 Google problem still exists. I'm going to delete Google and try Google Chrome. I'm currently using Firefox.

the other add-ons in Firefox as well. See if there is anything that looks suspicious.
