Question

google play books

Jun 5, 2012 7:29AM PDT

I added Google play books to google chrome. The words in all the sentences are jumbled up.They are out of order so nothing makes sense. Also the icons don't work.If I click on contents for instance I don't get the contents. It stays on the same page though whats on the page shifts a little. What is wrong ?Is there a place i have to order(pay for) this app.?Thank you

Just saying

Mine is fine.

Windows 7 on a Desktop PC, I have just installed Google Play Books to test it.

I've tried on, Alice in Wonderland, (only 3 free choices available that I could see), and it seems to work fine. No word jumble and the Contents are OK.

Has your app ever worked? Have you tried it on any of the free books?

I don't know what happened but when I went back to it to look at it again everything seems to be ok.I wonder what the problem was.I do have a question about this app though. Is there a list of books for free one can read other than the 3 that are already there or must one purchase books from the book shop?

and glad you got it sorted. I would put it down to a "windows thing".

I was a little surprised about the choice of free books myself. I didn't scout around so I can't say if there are any others on offer. If they have a search function try that.

I tried a number of books in the search and some were free and others were only $0.99. but some weren't free or cheap.Guess you just gotta try by typing in the search box.
