Question

Google Pixel vs Huawei P20 lite

Jul 10, 2018 12:15AM PDT

I am looking to buy a smartphone to replace my now useless iPod Touch but I want to buy one with a great camera. My budget is a bit limited so can't go latest generations. I was between the Pixel 1st generation and Huawei P20 lite. What do you reckon is best? Needs to be able to play music (but all of them do, don't they?!)
THANKS!

As to camera

You find reviews and look at the camera notes and examples.

Here we don't look at the Huawei due to spyware beyond what you get in a Google phone. Google's phone is also more likely to be kept current on the OS for longer.

OS reliability!

thats is very helpful actually, thanks. The reason why I am not even considering Apple is because they make their devices obsolete every two years (my iPod touch was running perfectly until I installed the latest iOs) so a brand that is a bit more user friendly and OS reliable is a top priority.

Small world.

I have two phones when I travel. A fairly current Android Moto G 5. But my other phone is an old Apple 5S. I see it's up to date with iOS 11.41. I don't see that being obsolete as fast as some maker Android phones.

Hi mate,

I can't speak for the other phone but I own a Pixel and it does have a great camera!

In terms of playing music, pretty much every phone will have the capacity for this nowadays!
