Question

Google interaction features

Apr 2, 2018 9:21AM PDT

Have an Android mobile phone that came with Google Chrome. If one wants to use interactive features such as voice to text must one install an additional apps or does it exist natively? Trying to work with the minimum of apps.

As a test I am answering you from my Android phone that is running Google Chrome. It seems that it works, okay Google.

PS.

I replied using the voice to text feature here and my last reply. So it does work and in my case natively. I did not add any add-on.

I opened Chrome to this discussion then tapped reply and then the mic icon to do text to speech.

So to get text to speech no add ons.

Now if your Android version is very old, maybe that's why you can't use text to speech?
