Google homepage and toolbar missing

Jun 2, 2010 2:40AM PDT

I installed internet explorer 8 and now I have lost my google homepage and toolbar. I have tried to re-enable through Tools, Toolbars where it is not checked. I check it and nothing happens. I can't even re-install it. I get a message saying that it is unavailable or Internet Explorer can't open the page. I am running Vista Home Premium, 32 Bit Service Pack 2 with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+.

Have you restarted your computer since the install of IE8? If not, try rebooting, make sure you have add-ons enabled, and then download the toolbar from http://toolbar.google.com

Hope this helps!
