Question

Google Chrome won't connect to internet

Aug 13, 2018 2:14PM PDT

I finished building my own custom PC about a week ago, when suddenly, about 3 days ago, Chrome refused to connect to the internet. I've tried:

- Reinstalling several times,
- Deleting the default folder
- Using incognito and uninstalling plugins and extensions
- Disabling my firewall
- Turning off hardware acceleration

For some reason, whenever I force quit and relaunch Chrome, it is able to connect fine for 5 to 10 minutes, but then becomes unable to connect and times out on every page. All other browsers and apps can connect just fine. Any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

John

Two options

1. Change to Google or OPEN DNS
2. Go to internet options(from start) and check if you have any proxy set.
