General discussion

google analytics.

hello, I started using google analytics last week, but I'm not being able to track my data.
I added the code following the instructions, in the google analytics's dashboard it says the it is receiving data, but after I go to my page and check again, it says no visitors, no nothing.
I didnt exclude any ip addresses not even mine (yet), but just to make sure I accessed my page form a different computer, and still nothing.

any suggestions?

I dont know what happened, but it started working now, after a week, even though I didnt change anything.
Anyway...could you tell me what bounce rate means?

And also do you know where can I find documentation about what all the stuff means, I mean how to understand all the stats better?

Thanks, Marcelo.

Bounce rate
Jun 3, 2007 2:50PM PDT

is when someone visits your homepage (the first page) and then leaves without looking at anything else. So if you have a bounce rate of 50%, that means that 50% of your visitors who come to your page just leave (bounce) without looking at any other pages.

This page http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/?hl=en is as close to a documentation Google Analytics has.
