...something which has the amplifier built in like this one, or would something more HTIB-like be a better value? I was thinking finding a refurb HTIB might give you more flexibility if you ever wanted to add a flat panel, or simply throw it w/ a TV for movies. Something like this for a similar price:

I've used Logitech for PC speakers, but for anything else it depends on what sort of sound quality you will put up with and for what purpose(?) ![]()
I am looking for a good system of surround sound speakers for my dorm room. They need to have an optical digital input. They need to cost under $400. Thanks for any help.
