good ol' word proccesor

Hi, my grandma have a old computer with win95, she uses the computer to write documents and books, recently her old system is displaying everytime is opened ms word 97 illegal operation blah blah, i can't find anywhere ms office 97,
do anyone know a good word proccesor like msword 97 compatible with win 95?
any suggestion?

locate a file calles "normal.dot" and delete it.

Now try starting Word again.

"blah blah" is not an error message I've seen Microsoft use. In my opinion it's best to share the error message in full. If you feel it's too much work to share, then others may feel that its too much effort to pitch in to solve your issue.

Try the normal.dot deletion first.
