Good News to the Dell Inspiron 5150 Laptop Customers / Owners.
There was a Class Action Complaint aganist Dell on its Inspiron 5150 Laptops by Lundell.
Based on the Negotiations and Settlement of the Class Action Complaint, Dell has agreed to extent the Warrenty on Dell Inspiron 5150 Laptops till November of 2007 for Qualifying Repairs. (1. Repairs to resolve Message Code M1004 which is a Message that displayed if it shuts down to prevent damage. 2. Heat Sink Replacements. 3. AC Adapter Replacements to resolve insufficient power. 4. Motherboard Replacements that are necessary to resolve ''no power'' or ''shut down'' situations.)
If you have already repaired your Laptop, Dell is going to reimburse the amount paid for the repairs provided one furnishes the repair bills and the Repairs falls under the Qualifying repairs listed above.
If you access your Warrenty Information of the Dell Inspiron 5150 Laptop using your service tag, you will notice that the warrenty is extended till November 2007.
