Question

Good Media Player

Apr 14, 2012 8:23PM PDT

I am looking to download a media player for my Windows 7 similar to iTunes or WMP.

Unfortunately, I broke Windows 7's WMP in trying to get back the previous version of WMP as Windows 7's sucked. The only way to fix it would be to reinstall Windows, which I don't particularly want to do.

The requirements are that it have a library system, must be able to do play counts, ratings, last played, date added, album artwork, etc.

I pushed the submit button accidently. The database must be dynamic, meaning if I move the media files, it will detect that I've moved them and update the library accordingly.

Something like WMP or iTunes would be great, but since my WMP no longer works, I can't use it, and since iTunes library is non-dynamic (static) it's a no go...

I use VLC

I use VLC already, but it doesn't have a media library.

As for me reinstalling Windows, I would have to as the DLLs and registry keys are wrong. I am not able to do a roll back either to get it working.
