Good backup software for a small business?

Hi all,

I do IT for a small business and backup is, without a question, a big issue. We are currently using EMC Retrospect for our office-machine backups, but while its pretty good software, it cannot backup Open Files , specifically PST files still open by Outlook. Does anyone know any backup software they think is excellent for backing up both OSX and Windows machines, is reliable, centrally managed, and has Open File Protection? The backup server itself can be OSX, Win, or Linux. Any suggestions are welcome!

If a file is open, backup may be meaningless.

I wouldn't count on that copy being any good.
