good auto feed scanner??

Dec 17, 2009 4:34AM PST

I am illustrating an animation on copy paper. Scanning every page is too time consuming. I'm looking into auto-feed scanners but they seem to be geared towards scanning documents and lower the resolution when using auto feed feature.
There is no specific info about the auto feed resolution, even in CNET reviews! So I don't know if there is a scanner out there that has an acceptable resolution when using the ADF feature.
I should mention that I did find an Epson with ADF and reasonable resolution, but it was broken right out of the box. I looked up reviews and many many people had the same issues with the epson breaking down (makes loud grinding noise and won't startup). Other than epson is there an ADF scanner that is not made just for scanning low quality documents?
