by Needhelplease / July 3, 2010 11:19 AM PDT

I need one with a 4gb ram,a good processor(2+ Ghz because I am going to encode videos. quadcore would be awesome, dualcore is okay), be Asus,Toshiba or Sony Brand and be under 900$(Preferable under 1000 after tax, warranty etc).
Can anyone help me out please?

Are laptop choosers. You can use those to put in your price, your CPU choice and see what's available today.

I tried laptop choosers, they don't allow me to choose processor speed as an option

The one at Newegg.com which I added recently lets me pick the CPU. No speed but the list narrows so fast that it may be as good as it gets.

laptop recommendation

Hi there,

You should check out the Sony Vaio EB. It has a 2.13 GHz Intel Core i3-330M processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 500 GB of hard drive space.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
