I used Godaddy for several years, it has a few +'s, but far to many -'s, so I changed to another provider. Today I signed up for a new account with iPage, but closed it due to several misrepresentations, here is what I wrote from my experience with them, another nightmare;

I just signed up our company for a "dummy acct". But you can delete the account imagelair for the following reasons; 1). found several mistakes in billing info billing person set up, 2). I was informed that the transfer of a .ORG domain would be the same price as to register which you advertise as $8.99, but the "order page showed the price was $15.99, 3). I called 3-times after I saw the different price to talk to someone, had to wait on Billing extension for over 25-minutes with no one answering the phone, and over 20-mintues, both times, on tech-support extension with no one answering there either before I hung up.
You can delete our "dummy acct" imagelair as we will not be transfering our 30-domains, and will not be hosting our websites with iPage due to above.
As you can see, not a good experience for me. If you do a search for top host providers, good luck with that, from my searches it appears that ALL reviews are extremely bias. Guess it is up to how much they pay for the reviews, or other incentives to get at the top.
