Question

GO SPEED APP ON SAMSUNG EXPLORER

Jul 8, 2017 2:56AM PDT

I reactivated this phone w/MetroPCS as a 2nd phone for emergencies. But I forgot the logging pattern for the GO SPEED App which I downloaded free a couple of years ago from Google Play. This app is great for deleting junk files, closing other battery sucking apps and cooling the microprocessor. My problem is that now I cannot use any app because the phone gets locked if I choose forgot password (pattern) and although it goes to login into my Gmail account it cannot login due to an old password input in its memory.
Can somebody help me ? Thanks

Clarification Request
SHOULD I DELETE ALL APPS AND RESET THE PHONE ?
Aug 7, 2017 12:14AM PDT

I searched online the Go Speed app but I couldn't obtain any info. On the other hand I searched for
Security 360 app which always is asking me for the login pattern. I found the author and wrote a question but I never heard back from him. Now my question is do I need to delete all apps from the phone and then reset to load the factory set apps ? I don't see any other solution. I will try to go to a MetroPcs store and ask for help there before I will do the reset.

So let me know if you have any other suggestion and thanks for your reply.

That is usually the fix.

While I call this a factory reset, folk seem confused and have a few names for it. It's the reset that clears memory, apps and puts the phone back to factory ready to be setup condition. This reset varies with the model so if the usual power on and volume control button method fails I'm on google.

You touch base to the Go Speed app's author to see if they have fixes for these issues.
