those 2000 emails may offer a clue. To my knowledge, these are not stored locally so must be retrieved each time so there would not be there instantaneously. You might try the gmail option to temporarily revert to the old display and see if that helps, however.
Hello, my OS is Windows XP, Internet Explorer8, Mail is Gmail. Yesterday Google has upgraded Gmail to dislplay a new window. That has introduced mayor problems. 1. Inbox: rolling up and down the list of income mails with the ruler (on the side of the window) does not work smoothly anymore but jumps forward a few lines after some 20 seconds. Smooth rolling resumes when I switch to 'Reply' or 'Forward' the mail message. 2. Out of some 2000 mails in the Inbox (30% of total space used) only some 150 mails can be displayed. I have upgraded IE8 to its present version, but that does not help. Could someone advise me what happens. Thanks in advance.
