Gmail antivirus coming soon

My only issue with this is that it will prevent me from sending some attachments. Other services have blocked zip files. So as long as you are sending office documents or pdf you are fine. It would be nice to have a good anti virus on gmail though. Their anti spam isn't bad but is not nearly as good as Cloudmark that I used to use when I was using Outlook.

Locked out of Gmail
Dec 1, 2005 3:51AM PST

I have twice been locked out of Gmail for 24 hours. They say my account is acting strangely and they are locking it down for 24 hours. The first time I installed a gmail indexer add-on to google desktop. It was on the list of addon from the Google desktop program. But my guess is that it was download and trying to access all of my 900MB of email at once and Google thought that was strange. But now a week later after the inital lock out I am locked out again. I assume for the same reason. I uninstalled the download, but it is odd that using a product that Google has on its own website seem to trip some automatic lock on my email account to lock me out.
