GLORIFIED IPOD

May 17, 2010 4:13AM PDT

I bought THE 32 WIFI 3GS and found that I could not even access my own website. I returned it within 1 business day and was charged a 10% restocking fee.($72.00) . I THEN HAD TO CANCEL THE $29.00 A MONTH AT&T WIRELESS DATA SEVICE, THEN THE PRO PLAN, 99.00, THEN THE MOBILE ME 99.00). IT WAS LIKE HAVING A VIRUS.

Somehow I missed the big sign that said LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS and YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD MOZILLA FIREFOX OR INTERNET EXPLORER AS YOU CAN ON ALL OTHER MACS BECAUSE APPLE IS UPSET WITH ADOBE?

THIS IS JUST A GLORIFIED IPOD! AN EXPENSIVE ONE AT THAT! Worse yet I put it on my Barclays (Apple Account) and they said that they couldn't do anything because I got what I ordered- quote unquote.
I am about to cancel my IPHONE service (125.00) CANCELLATION FEE AFTER 3.5 YEARS and I will never have a new Apple product in my house again.
BOTTOM LINE- APPLE DOESN'T CARE! THEY CONTROL THE MARKET AND NOW THEY CAN CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT SEE ON THE INTERNET.

Ipod = training wheels for Iphone
May 17, 2010 4:11PM PDT

Steve Jobs said back in 2007 that the Ipod was training wheels for the Iphone.

It seems like the iphone is outfitted with it's own set of training wheels, especially when you compare it to the Newer high end Android phones that are out now.

The Iphone IS very stable compared to an Android phone.... but you have to be willing to live within Apple's strictly (and subject to change w/o notice) limits.

If you move to and Android phone, just be prepared to skin your knees now and then, as Android phones do not come equipped with training wheels to protect you from yourself. That is the price you pay for the freedom to access the internet unhindered and unsupervised.

dont be bitter cuz you didnt do your research...

while your situation sucks, your response is not measured considering the context... all you had to do was go to an apple store and ask anyone or, i dunno, google it? c'mon man.

also, not carrying ie or firefox has abs nothing to do with adobe? that's just crazy talk Wink

I agree

The only person you can get mad at is you. You didn't buy a normal computer and Apple never said it was a normal computer, so why did you buy it thinking it would behave like a normal computer? If you had enough insight to post here then you should have had enough insight to know what you were getting.....it's not hard, the information has been splattered all over the news and internet.
