Global warming or something else

Whatever you want to call it, the weather has gotten weird lately. Now only that but I certainly can state in the last 5-6yrs. it just hasn't been normal in my area. Not that winter didn't come but was short, wet or warm, summer was nice but maybe too wet or a few days of real scorchers. You get the idea, compared to weather pass, the number of days of what was typical just isn't present. Of course now the reports of the ice packs or glaciers world around are getting smaller. I have to believe things aren't normal and while some may not think so, the result needs more time to play out, but that isn't for the better if it remains as things are now. Maybe, getting a boat could be a good idea. I don't know what the future holds and some people tend to dismiss all this global warming stuff too quickly. -----Willy Happy

I will agree there is climate change but will disagree on "the science is in" or done.

Planet Earth had never had a stable climate. That is, as long as humans have remembered there have been change. Folk seem to dismiss that.

It's been a strange season here in Columbus.

I believe our total snowfall has been but a few inches. We've only had a couple of nights when the temperature was under 10 degrees and nothing below 0. We should still be below freezing most days but it's been in and around the 60s. The bulbs are up and the grass is greening early. I don't think this is evidence of any major warming of the globe because any increase of the past years is but a fraction of 1 degree. Earth has been through warmer and colder spells many times over. In our own lifetime we won't detect much change in overall temperature.
