I thought it as a joke at first, but then I felt so left out because everyone was laughing and I had no clue what was going on...
hehe. I get the feeling that we'll hear it on Friday's BOL.
in the podcast, there is only a few seconds of silence and then you guys give your reaction to the voicemail. Is that editing, or do you guys fake the reaction? Do you really listen to the voicemail live time? I imagined that the voicemail was a separate audio track, you guys give a couple secs of silence, veronica marks the time and then later inserts it. If thats how it goes, its pretty funny to hear the not so live time reactions after "hearing" the voicemail.
anyways... How's it done?
I wonder if the actual clip can live up to what I have imagined if we do eventually hear it. It sounds like it will be frakin' hilarious!
Hey guys, first post after two voicemails. The clip is kinda funny, but more interesting I think.
As for how they do the voicemails, it's just a guess but maybe they play them in the studio but then cut it out to put in just the voicemail clip so it'll sound better. But I have no idea. Hope you guys hear the clip soon!

that's probably how it works. I think this happened once before, with another voice mail that wasn't quite as funny. The next day they gave a summary. I hope they actually play this one, or post a link to the clip and put it online somewhere.
Does anyone remember the National Lampoon Radio hour's recurring bit "the lost glider"? it was about 30 seconds of near dead-air (I guess the sound of a light breeze) and then a quiet voice muttering about how profoundly lost he was.
I too thought it was a joke. Unless something unspeakable happened to the glider. I thought I heard SOMETHING.... could've been a snake.... =O
