Glad she's well

Glad the Duluth, GA woman is alive and well. HOWEVER, I feel badly for the hispanic community. According CNN News, (TV news so I have no news link) the woman initially reported she had been kidnapped by a "white woman" and "hispanic man". Why do people seem to always include at least one minority with these events? Would not her "kidnapping" been just as bad had it been two whites?

I'm sure the hispanic community will get over it.
