Give more weight to electricity usage in reviews

by sebseb81 / May 16, 2009 2:51 AM PDT

I just read a review of the Eee Top and I was surprised by the fact that there is almost no mention of how much electricity this desktop uses. With an Intel Atom chip, its power usage is pretty low, and this feature would be especially important in the comparison to the Acer Aspire desktop in the review, which obviously would use a lot more power. I know power usage is traditionally something that is only important in laptop reviews, but I believe these days more and more people will want to know how much money they can save in their electricity bills with small form factor desktops. And of course those who care about the environment might also want to be made aware of power usage in future reviews of desktops.
