Reputation is not something you turn on at will, and is not something that you can change at a moments notice.

Reputation is earned, or it is lost, by the way you behave towards others.

In business, reputation is categorised by your behaviour towards Debtors, Creditors, and Customer Service, (Customer Support).

Debtors: The people/businesses you buy goods and services from in order to conduct your business.

If you do not treat your debtors correctly, your reputation will suffer.

Creditors: The people/businesses you sell your products or services to.

If your workmanship/products are shoddy, poorly designed or "not fit for purpose" and/or if promised delivery dates are not adhered to, your reputation will suffer.

Customer Service, (Customer Support): Caring for your customers.

If your Customer Service, (Customer Support), staff have a "couldn't care less" attitude, if they do not follow up on promised action, and/or if they do not keep the customer informed, your reputation will suffer.

Fix any and/or each of those and your reputation will improve.
