Hi there.

I wanted to give The GIMP a try. However, on the download page, it says that I need Apple's X11 app, which is unavailable.

Now, I found it on, but it says the requirements are Mac OS X 10.3 through 10.3.9. I have Tiger 10.44; am I safe to dowload it?

Also, it mentions that 10.4 customers can install X11 by using the Tiger DVD installer disk, which I don't have.

Thanks in advance. Happy

you are going to need that at some point in time to do a couple of things with.
I would assume, no promises, that the X11 on the website is the same as the one on install disk. However...........

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
