your mobo is "amd live" capable and all you need is the proper driver for your on-board sound. of course the material that you're listening too should be multichannel but the sound driver can also do a simulated surround mix for stereo input.

I'm a newbe at this sort of thing and any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm planning on hooking my pc to my receiver w/ a digital coax cable and am woundering if this is going to work. I've read that I'll only have two channels, if this is the case can I use the DTS NEO:6 on my receiver to simulate 7.1 surround sound? I guess I should have mentioned that I'm using a S/pdif connector plugged into my mother board.
