Gigabite Bios ( I'm worried)

Nov 22, 2004 10:08AM PST

After downloading the last Flash Bios from Gigabite for my old 7ZM motherboard and extracting to a floppy, the contents contained: "Flash860", a autoexe file and the Bios "7ZM.ffc" Where is the .bin file..?
Am I out of the loop that much..? Are there no .bin files anymore..? After 10 days of emailing Gigabite and getting no answer I was hoping some of you could help me.
Running 450 Duron with 512 SDRam and Windows XP pro. and American Megatrends bios.
(p.s. I use my old Windows 98 disk to boot to "A").

Bin just refers to being a binary file and the extention used may not matter. For my MB, the extension is .ROM but it's still a binary file.

Thanks Steven but .bin and .rom are the files from the type of Flash you are doing. American Megatrends (AMI) uses .bin and Award Flash ( now the most common) uses .rom but why my .ffc thingy.
