The supplied OS had the right drivers. I find most folk can't install Windows anymore and the makers do not tell you which drivers to install. For example, who knew you must install a chipset driver too?
Ever since I reinstalled my operating system (Win7Ent64bit) on my Samsung laptop NP-Q430-JSB1US my maximum ethernet speed is 100Mbps. I am pretty sure that it used to have a maximum of 1Gb.
I have the latest NIC driver, but I'm wondering if there is some other driver or BIOS setting that I need to sort out.
Can anyone assist me?
