ghosting on monitor when hooked to xbox 360 via VGA

i have a 3rd party VGA cable for my xbox 360 and when i hook it up there is some distortion and ghosting but i know its not the monitor, so its probably the cable, so if anybody could help me thanx.

Nothing you can do. Some third party cables are just crap, plain and simple. Nothing you do will change that.

So, best thing I can suggest is either buy the official VGA cable, OR you could go with a QUALITY third party cable maker like Monoprice. I have the VGA cable from them, and it works great. Quite a bit cheaper than the Microsoft branded one too.
