Getting this stupid file download everyday

Aug 16, 2009 4:36AM PDT

Lately, I've been getting a stupid file downloaded every time I'm on Safari.
I've deleted all my cookies, I don't know what more to do.
Is there a preference for not getting downloads unless you approve a download??
Safari,.4.0.3

PS: how do I change emails for this forum? Can't find it for life of me

There is some ongoing discussion about this on the Apple boards. I don't have the link handy but it's all about javascript. It should be fun to see how Apple fixes that.

These are unpaid moderated boards. You could find it on your own. I offered some setting you could test. Try to find it. I see it's a hot topic so my reply is to help you find it rather than do your work for you.

How does someone force downloads to someone else?
