Getting the Panasonic TH-42PX85U - Picture Settings?

by Kerrymike / December 9, 2008 2:00 AM PST

Hey I am pretty excited because I have decided to get the Panasonic TH-42PX85U model in a couple of weeks. I currently have a Panasonic and I love the brand obviously. I found some very good picture settings on another website for an optimal picture. I have looked for some picture settings for the TH-42PX85U but I can?t find them anywhere. Can anyone suggest some picture settings for me or direct me to a source?

P.S. I mostly play games, watch sports and watch movies. We occasionally watch HD TV programs as well.

Picture settings are all based on room lighting and seating position

Option 1)Get an electronics store to calibrate your TV (BB or CC)
Option 2)Tweak the settings one by one to find the best one for your room (time/labor intensive but free)

I'd purchase a picture settings calibration DVD, like the Avia one. That way all you have to do is follow the directions on the DVD and it will tell you how to calibrate your TV for your specific room/lighting conditions.
