Wow, after spending all the money you have support options but I don't see where you asked Dell and Microsoft. Win2008 ENTERPRISE is a many thousand buck outlay so it's amazing you wouldn't ask MSFT for the support that came with.
Yes there are pirate copies but those folk know better than to ask in this forum.
As to the Dell, be sure to call that in. Dell is well known to issue BIOS or Drivers to support this expensive OS.
I have a Dell Optiplex 980 running Win2008 R2 enterprise. The only role which is activated is Hyper V. The rig is also fitted with an Adaptec 5800 series Raid controller card with 2 x SAS hard drives in RAID 1. When I perform large file transfers (+100GB) to the SAS drives all is well but when I transfer large files to the SATA hard drive that came with the Optiplex originally, the whole system blue screens. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
