Getting rid of a start-up problem

In one of my attempts to clean-up my computer, I must have deleted something needed.
Every time I start-up my comp (XP), it tries to install Photo Gallery. If I click OK, it then gives that warning/prompt of putting in the CD to install it with. It then won't go away until I go into Task Manager and "End Task."

Question: how do I get rid of this so that it doesn't try installing each time I start-up?

If you have not installed this program, you may download a new one and install separately. If you have installed or do not need, you may check in 'msconfig' and unclick this.

Thanks. I installed a new version of what I think is the program in question but it still happens. I'm also not sure in MISCONFIG what to uncheck, since nothing simply says "Photo Gallery." Any ideas what it might be on an HP Pavilion dv4000 on XP?

not sure, but try

In reply to: re

I'm not sure about this, you may click Start > Run, input 'msconfig', then switch to 'boot', then you will see all programs, which runs automatically when the PC start. You may check whether there is a problem, which notice you to install 'Photo Gallery'. After you unclick this option, it will not notice you to install again.
