Question

Getting paid before the buyer installs my software

Jan 23, 2013 8:21AM PST

I have submitted my software as a zip file to download.com and posted the item as a "Purchase" product. Do potential buyers have to pay before downloading the software?
Thanks

RE: Trials and $$$ - Previews too!

I guess not...

It is better to make a trial version of your software for a month period, and if they like it they can pay for the full version. It is bad enough when someone downloads a software and run it to find that it's just junk. Go make a trial. Anyone who download your software would appreciate a trial so that they can know what's inside the software. Its better than no-trial softwares. Oh, and try make your software famous.

If you dont make a trial, it's better to make a preview. The people can see the video on youtube or the software pictures. Both of these options are guaranteed to increase sales.
