Tell more about the host PC. So far, there isn't enough written and it appears you need to report the Forum Tip doesn't show for you. I just got a Sony Dual Layer DVD model DRX-710UL. This was my first DVD player of any kind on my computer. when I installed the Nero Software taht came with it, I had Direct Draw Problems. I went to Nero's website and downloaded their updates to the software. Now, the DVD is recognized but the picture is choppy. It will play for 1 second then pause for 2 seconds the sound will continue and then the picture wil start for one second at the point of the audio and the pause, continuously. I do not understand drive speeds and the such. I also updated Direct X to the newest version. Anyone have any ideas for me?
