Getting more music on one CD?

Aug 26, 2006 12:09PM PDT

I've been trying to get more than just the usual 10 to 15 songs (mp3) on one CD. Someone told me that if you put music into folders then on the CD that would enable me to get more music on a CD. Is this true?? If not, does anyone have any help on how I can get more on one CD? thanks in advance for all help, suggestions.........

If oyu burn
Aug 26, 2006 12:33PM PDT

If you burn the songs as a data file or mp3 file (some programs have this option) you can put over 100 songs on a CD easily. You must have a mp3 player or computer for them to play. If you put more than 99 songs on a CD, the mp3 player may not find the other songs on the CD. Because the window can only handle two digits.

Hope this helps.

You should get 80 minutes of music

You should be able to burn 80 minutes of music in wave files that will play on any cd player. I don't know what error code you get but I fill them up all the time. You must not try to record over 80 minutes in wave files. MP3 files can be stacked on a cd or DVD disk and played in a computer of mp3 player and fill the disk up.
