Getting HDMI source audio to wireless headphones

Jun 28, 2009 5:21AM PDT

I just finally upgraded to HDTV -- all new components with HDMI output. TV is Samsung LED 7000 series, receiver is a Yamaha RX-V465. But there is a problem I've run into. My wireless surround headphones (SONY DS6000) require input either as optical or analog connection. However, this receiver (and apparently most others) cannot output an optical or analog audio signal if the input source is HDMI.

Other than plugging the headphone transmitter into the headphone jack on the receiver, do you know of a receiver that can meet my need or an alternative way to get the audio to the wireless transmitter?

Thanks
