Getting error message when I try to Restore the System

Dec 21, 2004 2:14PM PST

I had a 40GB hard drive and replaced it with a 120GB (Western Digital). Since then, I can't run the System Restore application. Anytime I try, I get the error message : "System Restore Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I used to click Send Error report... But not anymore.

When I connect the old hard drive, the System Restore works perfect...
I will be more than happy if someone can help me...

HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone.

Hi Fello
I have exactly the same problem. Did you get a fix for it? I can't find it posted anywhere.

Try the right forum. This one is not about an OS.

Got your email. My advice is that you post in the OS forum since:

a. It's on topic.
b. There are more members there.
