Clarification Request
Tell what you've done so far?

Sorry
Sep 1, 2015 5:36PM PDT

I have read through a lot of old posts and did things they said but I've had no luck.

First I system restored, no help. I've updated my graphics card drivers, ran malwarebytes, tried uninstalling old drivers. I'm not very tech savvy.

Answer
A few things to try and consider
Sep 1, 2015 11:02PM PDT

First thing you should do is unplug all perifrials except all that you NEED such as keyboard and mouse, no thumb sticks etc, then try it out and see if that makes any difference. You also may want to consider making a bootable cd or thumb drive loaded with software to test the integrity of your hard drive, or if that's too complicated for you or simply not an option then right click on disk c and GOTO properties then Tools, then scan/check the disk for errors and auto fix any faukts, if you are not having driver issues then the usual cause of a BSOD is a failing/failed/bad hard drive. Do the things suggested to you and get back to us, thank. When you. Reply with results it may be a good idea to include a copy of the windows error log, use google for info on how to do that. Best of luck to you, Joe.

Answer
turn off wifi and bluetooth

see if it stops the BSOD. If not, then unplug any USB wifi or bluetooth device being used, see if it stops. If so, you have narrowed the problem area down.
