Getting back into web design

Apr 26, 2011 11:41PM PDT

I have not been in the design game in any serious manner for a long time, and was recently put in charge of redesigning a website. I have been getting familiar with some of the new standards out there now, but have a lot to learn.

I have a lot of ideas (some good, some bad) like a calendar that people can submit activities to (that have to be approved before publishing), some type of feed, a daily update, and other stuff. Just not sure how to make some of this happen.

Any suggestions on good resources?

hey tech ninja,

I would suggest googling CSS/XHTML tutorials, this is by far the best web standard for new websites these days. Not too difficult either.
