Resolved Question

Getting (back) in to tinypic

Dec 13, 2011 11:03PM PST

For a long time I have been posting images (photos) on a specialised but active (hundreds of posts/day) forum. This using tinypic without registering. I give them all a characteristic name. As result when I post a new one and give it a name that starts the same I see previous ones I posted are there in tinypic.

Quite recently I registered with tinypic and stored some photos there, many of which I also posted on the said forum.

2 problems now.

1. - I cannot get back into my stored ones, or put up new pics via my officially registered thing, Whenever I try it says my password is wrong which I do not believe. There is the usual 'forgotten password?' facility to get a new one, but although the system seems to know my e-mail every time I try to use this it just gives me "

Error! Unable to send lost
password E-Mail. Please try again later."

1a If I ever do get it working I wonder what would be the least labour-intensive way of gathering all these loosely tethered pics with my title together on my official file? (Cyberspace must be like near-to-earth orbiting space with all the fragments like this floating about.) I guess the place I know where they are to be found is the forum but maybe this is now detached from the floating around ones?.

2 Although all these pics seem to stay on the forum there was one posted a few days ago that hasn't and in its place there is a notice "tinypic This image has been moved or deleted" which I have often seen on others' posts. The difference between this image and others is that they were either own photos or web-downloaded ones, whereas this is a scan of my own (a b&w diagram).

There seem to be tons of sites where such things are discussed, but this is the one I am already registered on.

O thought there must be such a site/facility but I couldn't find it. Now they say they will reply.
