Bull Snake = friend, in my area

they eat the ground squirrels / gophers that wreck havok in the farmers' and ranchers' fields. Unfortunately, there are lots of folks that don't take the time to determine the difference between a Bull Snake and a Rattlesnake (we have the Western Diamondback here) before killing one Sad These are often the same people (I usually refer to them by a name that kicks in the filter) that spend their free time killing the coyotes, which are also a natural predator of the gopher. We are now experiencing a HUGE population boom of the little buggers right now. Possibly a natural cycle for them, but many of their normal predators have been thinned out "unnaturally." **sigh**

Have fun with your new snake, Mark. He/she will have a good home with you. If it needs extra food, let me know and I will ship a few gophers your way Happy
