Before I forward this to our membership team for investigation I did a bit of my own investigation.
When I tested this,it looks like when you changed your email address, 2 different emails were sent to you.
One email looks like a text only email and has "Confirm your updated email address" as the subject line.
And the other was a bit prettier and has "Click to complete your CNET membership" as the subject line.
Is this correct?
The email that gave me a 404 was the "Confirm your updated email address".
When I went to the other email sent with the "Click to complete your CNET membership" the link took me to the CNET homepage and it confirmed my email address. If you received the other email address can you click on that link and see if that one worked?
Sorry for all the troubles, I want to get this solved before I pass this along to our membership team.
I appreciate the help from you.
Best regards,
-Lee
Cannot confirm to CNET that I did, in fact, request that my email address be changed. Got the 404 when I clicked on the link supplied in the "Confirm your updated email address" email and when I copied and pasted said link in to my Firefox browser.
