Geek Girls

Is there a trend of attractive women pretending to be somewhat geeky or nerdy in order to achieve some sort of street cred.

If Tom was not married and I just started listening to BOL, I would agree with the opinion made in this video on YouTube. It is pretty crass and not work-safe, but have a look.

Fan boys of the show will surely hit the reply button as fast as they can.

I found the video offensive.

But there you go. On YouTube, you can say what you like against who you like, and I suppose there's little anyone can do about it.

Tom Aleady Had His Say

It looks like Tom has already said his bit to captaintrashbag. I read through the comments left on the video and acedtect left one admitting he was caught at a less that spectacular moment and signed it Tom. While it is hard to tell if that really is Tom since there is not much on the profile at YouTube, that is his profile handle here.

As far as Veronica goes, she's done more than enough to satisfy me that she isn't some tech geek wannabe poser. Don't let him get you down V. There's plenty of us here in Buzz Town that think you're doing a bang up job for Cnet.

IMO captaintrashbag is just your average flame baiter. I'm sure between DB TV tapings he's trying to see what kind of an uproar he can cause in forums and blog posts. He's not worth the time to get upset over.

There is nothing in that video to agree with

regardless of what facts you already know. It's pathetic, and you should be embarrassed to even suggest that he makes any valid suggestions.

The only fact that comes out of it is that the guy is a pathetic moron.

V has taken alot of abuse lately. People get bored I guess. I noticed that she was noticeably affected by something in the podcast yesterday. I suspect it was all the recent negative comments on these boards. I for one, love to listen to BOL, I literally brightens my day and I hope Veronica and crew realize how much people appreciate what they are doing.
