Question

GE E1250TW digital camera

Oct 29, 2011 7:59AM PDT

I bought my grandson the GE E1250TW camera.
How can we tell where the pictures we are taking are being stored/saved?
Are they being stored/saved on the SD card or on the camera itself?
Can we set it so it will store/save the pictures taken only on the SD card (for using SD card with computer)?
Thank you for your help.

Remove the SD card and take as many pictures as you can to fill up the internal memory.

Now you know you can't take any more there.

Add the new card and see if you can take a picture. If it takes one then you know from then on where the pictures are.

My neighbor just told me that when the SD card in put in, all pictures will be saved to the SD card. And when the SD card is removed, pictues will be saved to the camera.
How does that sound?
Do you have this type of camera.

I also notice sometimes when we are taking pictures and don't use it for a few minutes, there is a red light blinking on top of camera. What would that mean?

The pictures will be stored on the internal memory if you do not have a SD card in the camera.
The pictures will be stored on the SD card when the card is in the camera.

Blinking red light

According to the User Manual it is a Status LED.
But the Manual never says what makes it blink.

I don't know what it is for.

Blinking light = standby mode.

Another guess.

Blinking light = charging up the strobe flash high voltage circuits.

Sometimes you can hear it on some cameras.
