GBP sign

My keyboard only has a dollar sign. I have worked out how to do a euro sign but don't seem to be able to get a british pound sign. can anyone help. Please!!!!!!

I saw a small company that made stickers to go on the keyboard to get the sign you wanted on the keytop.

As to Windows showing a specific symbol, then you try the regional settings in the Control Panel and in Word documents you select a FONT with the character you want.

Hold down your Alt key and press 0163 using your numeric pad.

is it a desktop system or a laptop?, if it is a desktop then have you concidered getting a new keyboard, if it is a laptop, try looking on ebay for a uk key board.

If not then set the system to have a uk keyboard in the operating system (in control panel/keyboard/ input locales and ensure that it is set to english(united kingdom) and then use the symbol above the '3' on the top row of the keys.
