How did you install Windows without the display working?
There are some folk that move a HDD over with a Windows installed and the fun begins. Anyhow that is not supported.
I did check the CPU and it has onboard graphics.

And this is the UEFI BIOS so getting to the BIOS is not easy. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=2739&pid=5530 means I might have to unplug the HDD/SSD/ODD to force it to show up.
I hope that I can find someone who can help with our problem. We bought this motherboard, installed the CPU, i5-6600K, fired it up, and wound up with no video. It turned out that some of the pins in the socket were damaged, so we swapped it out with another one of the same model. And the same thing happened. Our previous machine which had a different mobo was able to talk to the monitor just fine.
We have the monitor connected directly to the on-board digital connector. Unplugged, the monitor gives a "no signal" message while, when connected to the motherboard, all we see is a blank screen. The computer is obviously doing something. It's booting from the SSD but we can't see what it's actually doing. We can't even go into the BIOS to try to make any kind of changes.
It's either an astronomical coincidence that we got two motherboards that have exactly the same problem, or there is something that we're missing.
One other thing to note: We checked the compatibility of the CPU with the motherboard on the Gigabyte website. It was compatible, but the third column had this enigmatic collection of F1 through F4 for the different boards. For this one, it had F2. What does it mean? And might it have something to do with our problem?
